Day to Night: Time to layer up Fall is HERE!

Hi loves! Fall is here, and although in SoCal it may not be so obvious yet I am so excited for it! As much as I love comfy sweaters and boots, I still want to keep the essence of summer alive in my wardrobe. High waisted jeans and cropped tops were a clear obsession of mine and I'm not ready to give it up yet :) I kept the base look (jeans and top) the same but changed up the shoes and outer wear. A basic look like this is versatile because you can pair it with pretty much anything and look put together.

I like doing these, they are realistic for the everyday girl-on-the-go who has to keep a pair of heels and jacket in the car to change into after work. Hope you guys enjoy!

OOTD: All Black Errything (One Mo Gain)

Sleeping through my alarm in the morning, I jumped out of bedding and scrambled to pick out an outfit.  What jeans?  What top?  What shoes?  Does this match? Blah, blah, blah.... If you are in a rush, following the "All Black Everything" rule makes picking out an outfit sooo much easier!   I put on my go-to black leggings, threw on black a chiffon top (which can easily be replaced with a black chiffon blouse), paired with my suede booties (in taupe, for a just little color), and Voila!  My outfit is done and I will not be late for work! Yayy!

OOTD: Day trip downtown

I've been obsessed with my Everly boots and cannot seem to stop wearing them. I spent the day roaming around downtown LA and it was unbelievably hot! I guess I will try to appreciate the heat until it gets "cold" around here.

OOTD: All Black Errything (Workout Edition)

By now you should know how much I love BLACK - "All Black Everything" is my mantra.  Here is a sporty look that I love!  Keeping everything monochromatic instantly makes your look complete, even if it's in workout clothes.  Opting for a fitted graphic hoodie is a great compliment to an outfit, rather than a big baggy one.

No white after Labor Day? Eff that- Take Dos!

I bought this cover up kimono joint from Wasteland a long time ago in hopes of wearing it in Cabo but it was too hot. Its a beautiful piece by One Teaspoon and it was priced at $150- then half off, then half off of that! This isn't a practical piece for me but because it was so affordable I decided to get it. I figured that a nice white on white canvas would look great with the colors of this kimono. This has a straight up "gone with the wind fabulous" effect when you walk and I love it!

No white after Labor Day? Eff that!

Cortney and I attended an all white party in April and ever since then I've been a bit obsessed with the look. They say you aren't supposed to wear white after Labor Day but IDGAF! Lol I never follow those rules and believe that fashion means you do what you want, wear what you want, and don't care what anyone thinks about it- just don't leave the house looking a hot ass mess :)

Birchbox: August 2013

Yay!  I received my very first Birchbox! First of all, it arrived in a pink delivery box, so you can only image how excited I was to open it.  The actual Birchbox came in a very cute birch colored box - perfect for re-gifting :)

The items inside were all samples...eh I guess I shouldn't have checking the 'I love sameples' box when filling out my profile, but oh well.  However I was very impressed with the samples - all products are ones that I have never used before.  I love trying new products so the Birchbox is perfect if you want to put on your adventure hat and branch out from your normal beauty routine.  It's $10 a month - can't beat that price.  It's like Christmas every month - well kind of.
