Summer Vacation Series: Cabo adventures pt. 1
Ariel recently went to Cabo and it was amazing! Its a beautiful place to visit and she suggests everyone to go, she wishes she had known (or lets say listened to advice of others) about what its actually like there. In this series we will be giving tips and trips where we will make all the mistakes and tell you what to do and not to do :).
Everyone told Ariel to pack light but of course she did not listen and needed the 6 pairs of heels where only 2 were worn the entire trip. She literally wore makeup 2 out of 6 days there and there is actually no point because you are lounging on the beach and cruising on jet skis all day. But seriously, pack reasonable things that you can wear multiple days- the most essential item to bring is cover ups for your bathing suits.
Lover's Beach was day one and no joke- you have to jump onto a moving boat so stilettos and a Roberto Cavalli cover up is not going to work for this place. Once you get off the boat and arrive on this little island its worth it, so beautiful and the scenery is to die for.

Step 1: Healthy Skin
I've been using Dew Puff's 'Asian Clay' for the past month and boy has it done wonders for my skin. I have combination skin - either super dry or super oily - just depends on the time of year. By using it along with water and your daily cleanser (I use Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser) - the exfoliating powers of this clay sponge open up every pore to get your deepest clean. It is inexpensive, gentle, and effective!

The "How To" Series: White Tee + Boots
Our model Jessica has that effortless beauty look and we wanted to incorporate the standard white tee and boots into our looks with her. In the first look, high waisted shorts with a little white t shirt and doc martens is a great casual outfit that takes no time at all to throw on but looks like you put thought into it. If it gets a bit chilly like it does in LA at night, throwing on a circle scarf or simple jacket can soften it up a bit. The second outfit incorporates fun colors- we love to mix and match colors that may seem like they don't go together but pairing them with neutral pieces makes them flow together seamlessly.
We will be doing more posts on simple basics that everyone has, happy styling!
